Jeremy Kenyon led this Unity project in the Gamkedo club. He wanted to create a VR game (for the HTC Vive) where the player acted the part of a powerful deity who had control over the forces of nature, to either help your minions or punish enemy tribes. You could pull meteors down from the sky or pull up volcones from the ground, for example. This required a system that could deform the terrain to create craters where the meteros hit, as well as generating the volcanos. I volunteered to help and developed a very versatile and easy to use system that could be dropped into the project with very little need for additional integration. It was also used for Jeremy's subsequent project Singed Dirt.
